JustAir installs 1 Mega Watt of sustainable Class Zero Plus compressed air installation
JustAir once again contributes to making the compressed air industry more sustainable.
Compressed air in industry is a necessity for the production of goods. Compressed air requires a lot of energy, which is responsible for 10% of the electricity consumption in the industry, and also leaves a lot of waste in the form of oil that ends up in nature and oil filters that try to retain that oil.
With ClassZeroPlus compressors, no oil is used, neither for compression nor for the lubrication of bearings or gears as in classic compressors.
The technology chosen by JustAir is HSTM, High SpeedTurbo on Magnetic Levitation. The rotating shaft of the compressor rotates in the air, non-contact, carried by a magnetic field.
This optimizes energy efficiency and eliminates pollution!
JustAir was chosen to install Tamturbo's HSTM machines for a new factory that has 1 MW installed capacity in phase one. This factory will be equipped with one of the most modern and sustainable compressed air installation in Europe. This installation supplies Dry oil-free air according to ISO8573-1.
